Interesting Yenko ZL1 for sale FB SC

Saw this for sale out of Columbia SC. Claims real ZL1 Yenko. Has a 6 cyl VIN.

That is not a ZL-1 engine. True ZL-1 blocks were cast by Winters Foundry August 1968 - August 1969. It is an aftermarket casting Yenko marketed in the '70s.

As for the car, the VIN tag was removed from the body when the dash panel was replaced. Non-OEM rivets were used to re-install, which may be called into question during a DMV inspection. Even if the con VIN stamps match, they could require a state-issued VIN tag. If the con VIN stamps don't match, that will be a can of worms best avoided.

Those blocks are out there. Nothing special in my opinion.
