Newbie from PNW 68 Z28

Hi all,

Recently I acquired my dad's 68 Z28. It's a car he purchased in 1978, and is still a matching numbers car with the original 302 and Muncie 4spd. Car is what we think is LeMans blue, although it was in a fender bender back in the mid 70's at some point. Car has been sitting in a dilapidated garage since 2005. We got it out and pulled the motor to inspect it. Found some damage in the cylinder walls but plan to rebuild it.

When I find out how to post pictures on here I can post some with how the car was sitting and what progress we have made in the past couple of weeks.

How it came out of the garage.




Even though it is the wrong color, it is the original numbers matching 302.

That is a NICE car.  I would just clean it up and drive it as it is.

I would, but unfortunately it sat and now needs some serious mechanical work to get it road worthy again.

Pressure washed the 20 years of dust and dirt off, it looks way better in pictures than in person.

It's in the Seattle area, not sure about the plates as they have been on the car since the 80's. Car was last with valid tabs in 2000.
