1967 glove box door and lock

my 67 camaro glove box door and lock cylinder dont fit together
all are aftermarket parts from dynacorn in canada
the lock cylinder has 2 small tits behind the chrome plate but the door hole for lock cylinder does not have notches for the lock cylinder to fit, which is wrong, i can just file off notches or file slots in glove box door

File Notches in the sheetmetal of the repop door. You need the "Key"ing of the lock cylinder to prevent it from inadvertently rotating during unlocking twisting.
