Hey, my wiper Motor is running in the wrong direction  ::) i have hook up the wiring harnes 1:1 like before, that´s why i don´t understand this failure.
Have onyone a diagram for me?

David K

Can we get some background information as what led up the this?

Tom Feramenti

The Camaro got a new paint job. Nothing electrical was changed. I reconnected the wiper motor as the connectors allowed. :)

I think I have a Copy (From .net) of a 68/69 Bench Test Line diagram (*Elect)

I lifted these from the net.

Thank you! so i see, i connected correctly.
When i start the switch, the wipers run downward to the Hood. Possible that i twistet the rod 180 degrees? ?  ::)

Another "PROBLEM" with these is:
Not sure in your case;

If you replace the pivot hardware you MUST be careful to use a VERY short Screw in the Pass Side Pivot as the arm hinge can hit the screw-thread as it extended thread protrusion will interfere with the "Motion"

Yes, You Should Assure your motor is in the "Park" position before installing.

do you know where the park position is, on which side must the crank arm park, driver or passenger side?
i found a picture in the web, if that shows the right park position, mine is 180 degrees twisted

David K

If you remove the nut and wiper arm transmission assembly from the motor, then cycle the wiper switch, you can install it IF the motor parks correctly. If not, then you've found the problem. From my initial view, it would appear the motor is 180 degrees out. You could just remove it he transmission and manipulate the arms to realign with where the motor is. Let us know.

Tom Feramenti

Yes, that was it, the crank arm was simply twisted 180 degrees  :)

Come to Think about it.

I thought the Arm might have a couple "Stake" markings?
