1968 Disc Brake Pedal Pad

My understanding is that there was a transition in 1968 for the 4-speed disc brake pedal pad. Early cars did not receive the disc brake pad with the round stainless "Disc Brake" trim.  When was the transition? And also was there a similar transition for automatic disc brake cars?
thanks

I gave Chick when he asked me a few months ago info on this topic.  All came from original survivor type cars.  Mid to end of March was the switch over IIRC from the data points I gave him.

Not to question your car but it has its original pedal pad correct?  Just want to make 100% certain.

It seems the 2nd half of March the change took place with the small sample I have. Got to be in the ballpark anyway.

And yes should have mentioned both Darrell and Joe were part of the data points I have. Still overall a small population but it seems to be fairly conclusive.
And by the way I removed my disc brake logo brake pad on our 68 and replaced with a non disc brake logo pad after Jerry contacted me and reviews started. We keep learning and bar keeps being raised.
