1968 snorkel air cleaner 350

I was hoping to find out if a snorkel air cleaner that was original to a 350 Automatic would also work for a 4 speed?

Could make it work, but wouldn't be correct. The air cleaner with manual trans didn't have a ThermAC valve in the snorkel.

Trying to locate the original '68 manual trans cleaner is actually pretty tough. '69's are easier to find (snorkel location is on the passenger side  opposite from the '68's). I have converted several from auto to manual, not too difficult - easy if you have access to a spot welder, and handy with a Dremel.
