This is exactly why I wish it was illegal to reproduce trim tags and restamp engines. There is no doubt in my mind that the new owner of this car will sell it as a real Z. I am going to email this guy and try and get the VIN so this car can be documented as a fake in case it shows up on the market as a real Z.

I contacted the seller of the car and he has agreed to send the VIN to CRG so this car can be documented. I do appreciate his honesty with the selling of the car. At least he is not trying to scam anyone.

I see where the interior is totally over painted as original cars are more red primer with maybe some color overspray.
