Looking for the correct length of the thin wall radiator overflow hose. The AIM provides no details and I assume the hose length was the same for all Gen 1's however if not I'm looking for a 69 Z. Thanks.

Lloyd; mine is 18".  O3B L48 Pace car.  I believe it to be original to the car.

The original still on my '67 04B LOS w/L35 auto-radiator measures exactly at 18 1/2" when using a tape measure to follow the hoses contour. I tried to pry it off the radiator nipple but it is stuck on and I didn't want to risk tearing
the rubber.

Thanks James, the radiator shroud is NOS dating back to the early '90s.

I wonder what prompted GM in '69 to add a part to hold the hose end instead of using the clip I see in the photo that is already part of the radiator assembly like in '67 (and 68?). Granted the part probably costs cents to produce but you know how the bean counters think.

...and to dump overflow on the rad hose ? Would make a person wonder if the lower (rad) hose was leaking... :-\

Does anyone know who makes an accurate, quality reproduction?

I sourced mine from Inline Tube / Motorcity Musclecar Restoration Parts. Theirs is the correct thin wall design (with 3 ribs). Its sold in 25" length.

Thank you for responding. What I meant to say in my post is the clip that attaches to the radiator tank and holds the hose. That is the piece I was wondering about and if a reproduction is made and where to buy it from.
