Rob, thanks for adding those great pictures.  I have not seen these before.  Very cool.

Wonder what ever happened to the car?  Still around in someone's collection?

See it here: https://www.gettyimages.com/detail/news-photo/jean-claude-killy-photographi%C3%A9-avec-un-gar%C3%A7on-pendant-sa-news-photo/693238468?adppopup=true

Regarding post #10 and the text on the side of the 1969 Camaro with Jean-Claude Killy next to it, photo taken in Stockholm, Sweden, February 23, 1969.

I have a photo from one of the ski slopes at Högdalstoppen, in a suburb south of Stockholm, Sweden, most likely from the same occasion as the photo of the 1969 Camaro was taken. The photo I have shows a 1969 Impala with the text (in Swedish) "Jean Claude Killy Åker Chevrolet" on the side, which translated into English means "Jean Claude Killy drives a Chevrolet". The texts (including font and size) on the Impala and Camaro are identical, although only the ending is visible in the Camaro photo.

Thanks very much Ove for that information.  That is very cool that you have a photo from the same event! I love it when gaps in the information from the past gets filled in.

Here's the photo, not my own, I'm referring to with the Impala in the foreground where you recognize the text partially visable on the Camaro. Cannot see the Camaro in this photo but there may be a Chevrolet Sportvan in the background with possibly the same text and GM-logo on its side. The Chevy cars are most likely provided by a local Chevrolet/GM dealer, or possibly by GM Nordiska, a GM subsidiary that you may know about, covering the Nordic countries at the time.1969 Impala Högdalen Feb 23 1969 Jean Cluade Killy    crop.jpg
