Donovan aluminum Chevy small block 350 with 'custom machined' hemi-spherical heads and (mechanical fuel injection- Hilborn or similar).. :)

Well I see it says Donovan on the block, I thought since it is not a T/A engine the question was oriented toward what application.

A friend of mine and 'famous - or infamous?' - depending upon whom one spoke to... :)  ..  62 Corvette expert (Dale Pearman -now deceased) had a 400 ci Donovan engine in a '62 Corvette 'street car' once upon a time - it was really wicked!... not sure where that Corvette went to...?

We know what Smokey once did some 'small block hemi head' work for Chevrolet, but I don't recall ever seeing those heads; from examining the machine marks on the heads, doubt anyone could *tell* who machined them out..  :)
