Appears to be from a 1974 Chevelle. 2 barrel carb, used with auto trans. 145 hp.

That's what I came up with also but from the casting number I found 70-73  350 (200 - 300 hp)
The block date code would be Aug 17, 1973.
The Engine ID code is Sept 09 1974.
Does anyone know if the new model year started in September?
Do all these numbers look correct?
