I picked up these 14x7 JJ wheels years ago at a swap meet.  Date coded 22 YJ K-1-9  3   Just recently had them blasted and powder coated to use on my '69 plane jane restoration with 4 wheel drum brakes.

I want to fit them with modern radials.

From what I can find online, F70-14 from back in the day converts to P195/75R14.  Nobody sells a raised white letter in that size.  I can get BF Goodrich T/A radials in a P215/70R14 (1.6% bigger diameter than P195/75R14) or P205/70R14 (0.8% smaller diameter than P195/75R14)

What p-metric tire size are people running to mimic stock F70-14's?

I have the BFs on a set of SS wheels, and in this pic you can see I have a set of Cooper redlines.

I can't say for sure but I think that a F70 tire would convert to a metric size of 215 for the section width anyway.  I don't know about the diameter, but a 215/70-14 should work alright I would think.

The coker website will fit the tir for your wheels and give you the options and prices. I've been happy with these tires. They can sit without getting flatspots, and the red lines have stayed red (and not pink).
