Can you tell us the casting date on the center section of the rear axle?

Have you verified what gear is in your rear end? And also is it a posi? Could the stamp be wrong??

It is a posi, drives like a 4.10, and is 12 bolt. But as far as opening it up, no I haven't done that....But as I am typing this, there is probably a way to count the revolutions. Might look into that...

Unfortunately, that window sticker is not an original. :(

I think it could be original. If it has the right casting year.

This window sticker is not real.

If you jack up the rear end and spin the wheels, you can figure out what rear end gears are in your housing. If the driveshaft spins ~4.1 times per revolution of the tires, you have 4.10 gears. 3 1/2 times, 3.55s. No need to crack open the diff cover.
