YH rims

I'm restoring some YH rims and have a concern about the area where the sides of the tire meet the edge's of the steel rim. The area is pitted and I'm not sure if this will seal properly. If rims are pitted can't tire shops use a sealer for just this situation ?

Yes they can. If they are deep pits you can use POR Patch to fill them.
