Since everyone loves to see pictures I thought I would share what I ran across a few days ago.  As I was going through some old photos at my mothers I ran across this one.  Still going through old pictures and hoping I find more of the vintage ones of the cars.

My father Carman Cook with his new Camaro - April 1968

And the car he traded in for the Camaro.

Wow, did that bring back memories as a good friend purchased a new 66 Chevelle (396/360hp) in april 1966 when he turned 18 prior to graduation. Then in 68 he ordered and had a 68 Camaro L78 with M22. Wow that thing ran and was a warrior on the street.
Thanks for sharing and glad you have some great pics of your Dad and his rides. Cool!!!!!!!!!! :)

Wow Chick..  Did you know my dad?  lol  He was 20 when he bought the Chevelle and 22 when he ordered the 68.  My parents lived in Painesville & Mentor Ohio in the the mid to late 60's and he worked at Lucas Machine.

No I did not but seems like we'd been best of buddies with the similarities or taste in cars back then. You had one cool Dad DW!
