I was at the Mecum Auction in Indianapolis this week and watched this Turquoise RS Z28 Cross Ram sell for 100K. I took a lot of pictures and am posting a few.  It had the fender well signed by GM development engineer Jerry Thompson.  You can look it up at Mecums website.  If anyone wants other info let me know.
thanks, Scoop

Did you get a picture of the trim tag? If so, can you email it to me?

Thanks

Interesting heater hose arrangement - both are connected to the input (suction) side of the pump, so there's no coolant flow; the top 5/8" hose should be connected to the outlet port on the intake that has a plug in it.  ::)

I believe I saw that car at the USCC Nationals in '95.  If it is it has Plexiglas "fins epoxied in inside corners of the intake because Raw fuel was loading up there.  But yes, a piece of Camaro history.

Is this something other than a 68 Z with a cross ram added? Am I missing something?

Nope. Nice car that x-ram has been added to.

That's J. Thomas' old car.  Real Z but he changed the trim tag for color purposes.........I have photos of that car from the Camaro Nationals during the early 1990's.  It's been done for many years.

Here's Sam Bishop, Johnny Thomas and Scott Brehm at the Camaro Nationals, Dearborne, MI, 1993.  There's the car in the background.

T.I. harness
?? ???

Looks like it - that's a T.I. coil, and the T.I. harness was the only one that was wrapped with cloth tape (vs. vinyl tape).
