1968 z28 harmonic balencer date

I have a 1968 z28 302,    i was checking numbers on my harmonic balencer ,    8 inch diameter  it has a J7  stamping    maybe sept 1967?   does this sound correct for a  03c car?   thanks for any input.

Yes, J7 is a September, 1967 balancer, but it's unlikely to be the original on a March, 1968 car; not impossible, but beyond the norm.
