Wiper motor arm location

Hey guys,

Hopefully an easy question. On a 68 Camaro, what is the correct orientation for the wiper motor arm looking from the front of the car toward the firewall? My wiper motor has been out for a while and I know the arm has been spun around. I need to know the angle before I hook up the wiper trans. Thanks,

Just connect the linkage to the motor (wiper arms not installed), run the motor through one run/park cycle, then install the arms.

I wasn't sure if that would work. The car is being reassembled after 2 years and I didn't want to have to take the cowl panel on and off several times to get it right. Thanks again,
