Help Please!, i'm sitting her with my keys and my michigan american flag bi-centenial plate and my title but theives stole my car from Old Orchard Apartments in N.W. grand rapids, Mi. My Father passed away in '05 and he helped me buy and insure it and ironically cursed it every time i fired it up and it shook things off the shelves in the house. It was equipped with the 302 but i modified it to smokie unicks blueprints on "how to build a 520HP 302" and the took it a few steps further with angle plug heads and and a more radical cam 520 lift and 320 dur if i remember correctly but every time i her a muscle car go by i thing of my dad and that car. It was ralley green with white stripes, black guts and and the 302 of course w/ a muncie M22 "rock crusher" and 12 bolt, front discs and spots on the frame where someone had cut off ladder bars at one time. The VIN is #124378N419121. I'm now layed off from my automotive job here in the motor capitol of the world, so i can't offer much of a reward other than willing to share it if i had to sell it. But by STOPPING LOW LIFE CAR THIEVES we can help protect ALL our babies.  so if ya' see her my e-mail is (e_j_gager@yahoo.com) ph 616-364-3106. Earl J Gager

Earl,

Hope you find the car.  First question to ask would be is your VIN# 124378N419121 in the CRG database.

No, but we do have a 68 database older than mine. I've only been collecting since January.

If your car isnt in there, you should get the info to the CRG so that if it does come up, they can contact you.

A lot has happened with computers over the last 25 years.  You ought to make friends with the local law enforcement and see if they will run a search for you. If the car remained intact, it might show up. Also, google the VIN every now and then.

Have your insurance agent run the numbers. They have a data base which goes back older than the police. Less questions asked if the insurance does the check. Hope you find it.

I can't believe that you had a Camaro that was 68 feet long.  That's huge!

The database has 14,000+ vehicles accumulated over the years from various sources.
You can post the data in a thread or email me.

It's probably one of those nice cars on Ebay with parts from about 5 different cars that says "all original" parked in garage for last 25 years.
