69 Camaro dash vents

[Ginger 69 Camaro]

I have a 69 Camaro.  She was born a 6 cylinder.  She only has 1 side vent on the dash(drivers side).  I have never seen any other Camaro with just 1 side dash vent.  Does anyone know why this is?

I'm going to guess that a prior owner filled it in. Look up under the dash and see if the duct work is still there.

This is a long shot - but maybe the dash was replaced with a later Nova / Omega / Ventura / Buick variant - model dash panel.   ?

Bill and I have been discussing this and his first thought is that a partial "dashectomy" (my words, not his) may have been performed. Yes, can you post a picture of the entire dash and especially the grille?

When Ed says grille, he means radio opening on top center of dash, to clarify. Thought an FYI was warranted.
