These are the install instructions for a Dealer install kit that was produced for a 1968 Camaro. The seven page Instructions are dated 5-9-67 and include a template for monuting the system on Camaro and Chevelle applications.
These illustrations and instructions are not included in the Assembly Manual and are much more detail than what is available in the 1968 AIM. It shows strap placement etc., more clearly. The AIM I am have references drawings completed on 6-10-67 for factory installation.

I have spent a lot of time searching for documentation of these systems and this is the only copy of these instructions I have come across. If some one needs a larger file please email me and I will send it to you.
If any one comes across a service manual for this system please contact me a s well.

Is it possible to email me the instructions in a larger format? I would love to add this option to my car if I can find all the pieces. Knowing what the parts look like and how they are installed would help immensly! My email is carnut67ss@gmail.com

thanx. paul.

I would also like to get a copy of the cruise control instructions if possible.  I' ve got a complete setup minus the firewall bracket that I accumulated years ago for my wife's 1967 convertible. A friend did the same thing with me for his 1967 convertible and was able to get it working just fine.

67 stripper and bc69,
Rick's has 67 firewall bracket # CUR-1 in 2014 book, page 74. The 67 Chassis Service Manual (accessories 15-2) and the 67 AIM RPO K30 have good component operation and illustrations.
68 bracket is different as it has different mounting hole dimensions and other small differences. The wiring harness and engagement switch are also different
Parts are extremely hard to come by as not many where factory installed in 67 and 68.
Let me know if I can be of any further help. ;D

It's my understanding that this was a dealer only installation and
none were factory installed. Yes or no or both?
