Carb date codes on 68 04D Z build

Got a line on where my original carb is....I have a feeling it's not going to pan out so have been window shopping 4053's. What would have been the earliest and latest dates that could have been used on a late April built 68s ?

I have an extra '68 carb (body at least, maybe the metering plates also)..   822 date...  If you can use it, all you have to do is trade me something neat for my '69..
