That must have been a very early 69 commercial, most of the 69 plates start with a Y or a Z. I do like the X77 package with the endura bumper.

Are you guys honestly surprised that they used a high output Hugger Orange car in their commercial?   What color did they use in their print ads? 

Often one hears 'think we should scrap it'..  when the color isn't orange..

Actually they used a garnet red car for their handout (cowl hood no emblems chevrolet art department), and garnet red car for the ad "its got a mean streaK"
