What should I do? The needle is broken on my Tic Toc Tach on my 1968 z28, replacing the tach with a reproduction is the last thing I want to do. I would rather repair my original. All input, experiences and advise will be appreciated.

Try these people - I have not personally used them yet, but this is where my '68 Tic Toc is going - several threads on this guy in CRG -

Steve

Find out how much it will be.  There is a world class instrument restorer near me in Tigard Or.  I had them fix my temp gauge with nos guts.

Are they going to fix it as new or just replace the electric mechanism?

The only reason I mention it is because I had the clock in my tic toc tach "rebuilt" and they replaced it with a quartz movement.  That's not the way it was originally and if I had known, I would have had the original restored.
