Guys
Last year I flew from Charlotte all the way to El Paso to look at this car. The car was not as described. Big bummer. If anyone wants to know about it PM me.

And then states

Apparently not..  lol

Guess Ill have to stick to restored or original..   ;D

Someone needs to come out with a term book on all the ole wording phrases.  "original engine" - but not matching number, "NOS" - New Old Stock or Near Original Sorta, restored, survivor, unrestored, original, NOM, born with drivetrain..  Sheeewww..  It gets tiring going through all the bull to get the facts..  lol  But I guess we are all glutens for punishment or we wouldnt be in the hobby.   :P

I like near original sorta!!
I saw a nice car on ebay recently, I don't think it was this one and had the caution sticker. I think it was a z. I emailed and said gorgeous car but take that ford sticker off. Never heard back

Whats with the info on the cowl tag?

Look at the line below the paint color line. "2R76"?  Thats the weirdest schedule code I've ever seen.

Sorry for the size, I'm at work and can't make it smaller.

The car has OEM drivetrain, good paperwork, but tough body, and meshed together restoration. I could not get the top to go down...not sure why. He claimed original body panel car, and once I got there, lapped on quarters, bondo in the trunk drop offs, right front wheel well molding was jammed in the opening and crinkled, crooked console, various incorrect fasteners throughout the car, aftermarket horn etc. etc. This is what I can remember from last July. It is ashame because it is a real car, and a good paint job.
