air cleaner

I put the extension on the air cleaner and it fits snug except it doesn't go all the way down in the back where the indentation is ... when I put the flange into the extension the flange isn't snug it seems a little loose... any suggestions?

can you give us some more info? It sounds like you are working on a 69 with a cowl hood?
