"CAR ALSO HAS ORIG SHOCKS,FACTORY PAINTED WHEELS AND SPARE"

Would the factory have painted the rally wheels orange?

If the factory (assembly plant) painted the delivered Kelsey wheels a different color, that would be the FIRST time I've heard of it.  when I saw that car, I assumed the wheels were painted more recently to match the car..  for some ???  oddball reason.. :)

A friend of mine had an unmolested original paint 1968 Z/28 long ago (actually belonged to another friend of mine before him).  It was Carolina Blue with the - - paint code and body colored rally wheels, incuding the original spare tire (before he stripped the car and painted it black).  Only one I've ever seen in person with body colored rallies.

FYI - This was an early '68 Z with the 302 emblems on the fenders.  Charlie

I remember it being a short lived fad some years ago to shoot the wheels the body color, from the factory, doesn't make sense considering the build process ,however I do not know for sure ,there are some that would on this site. Wouldn't they shoot the spare  ??? You know ,get caught in one lie ,more  to follow. Side note ,love to see a rare color  ,stripe delete , 68 z going for over 100K. Where do I sign up?!

The ad also says the car was certified and appraised by Jerry. I wonder if he will add his comments here on the site?
