This is a great site. Thank you for the forum.

I am restroing a 1969 Camaro Pace car. I know this differentila is incorrect for this car, but would like to understand it's application. I have a 1969 Camaro 12 bolt differential that is coded PO 0702G and the date code is F 11 9. What is the application here? I have research material that shows 1967-8 Camaros used these codes. My research shows this is Positraction [2.56 ratio] with Metallic brakes and Large ring gear. I cannot find a reference for a 1969 Camaro having this installation. I am puzzled by the build date [1969].

The assembly date is too late for a IPC as well. I know of a 69 LOS 396 IPC out of TN. that had the 12 bolt stolen and replaced with a 10 bolt while being serviced. Is this the car?

I don't think this is the car, but I wouldn't know. This car has been off the road for 12 to 14 years. I have three different sources for differntial data and none show a PO code for 1969. What reference book are you using/ I have the GM parts book for these years also.
