There's a 1111266 z/28 distributor on ebay and no ones bidding? Why?

I couldn't find it but I did find 2 that ended on the 10th in the completed listings. Both were $1850.00 and neither one sold.

Thats the same seller! Does anyone know anything about this seller? Some time back it was mentioned that someone in west Tenneesee was a 'master' at forgeries.

I couldn't find it but I did find 2 that ended on the 10th in the completed listings. Both were $1850.00 and neither one sold.

I know what I was offered 'out of the blue' for mine and also what a couple of other guys I have had contact with also have been offered for theirs and $1850.00 ain't anywhere even close - so there has to be something going on here..
The point cam stamping number isn't correct from what the 'Definitive' book and my unit shows and if I recall correctly the vacuum cannister doesn't have the correct number on it either..

Well the 1111266 on EBAY went for $1200+. Now there's a 1111467 listed item # 200839892567, stating original but vaccume advance replaced and no numbers under the weights(532ccw).

Correction, the seller cofirmed that the 532ccw was stamped under the weight plate. So it looks like only the vaccume advance has been replaced. 99% original???
