I recently went to replace my inoperative washer pump on my 68 with a repro and it didnt look like the one on the car. The pump on my car looks like the 67 style. So, now i guess one of two things is going on, either mine was replaced with a used 67 pump at some point, or maybe it is a carry over in production. Does anyone have an idea if the 67 washer pump was used in the first part of 68? Also, is there a date identification on the pumps? My 68 is a 12D LA build. Thanks.
I wish someone made replacement plungers for these pumps.

I'm pretty sure '67 firewall holes are round and '68-9 are kind of oval...  They are different part number obviously.

Opps, pump, not motor...  Sorry.

No problem, I guess there's not that much info on the pumps out there. I just drilled the extra hole in my wiper motor to make the repro pump work. Thanks.

Cool.  I haven't tried mounting mine, yet.  I found my old motor and it did have the pump on it.  So, if anything, I suppose I could rebuild the old one with the new one's parts...

I thought about that, but the plunger, among other things, are much different. Fortunately, my 68 is not a "numbers" show car.

My 68 isn't "numbers", either...  And no trim tag!  But mostly original body, etc.  Drive train, not so much.  Then again, if I replace stuff, I want it to be as close to original style as possible...  Currently, I'm trying to figure out window felts.  The latest of many research items.
