I've read the CRG reports on carbs, and understand that all 67's used Rochester QuadraJets, but it also states that Carter Manufactured them with the same numbers and coding, with the "Carter manufactured for GMC" on the main body. My question is - is it possible that the car may have been built with the Carter QuadraJet instead, as I have a 10B car, with the early Carter #7027202 DB with date codes between the engine and car assembly dates. ???

Sure, they were both used simultaniously, but the only real way to verify which carb came on your car is to look at the CARB CODE on the POP. In the upper right corner it'll have either R (Rochester) or C (Carter).

  Thanks Ed,

Unfortunately, I have no POP, and the original owner can find no documentation - just wanted to be sure I was restoring too numbers correct, in the absence of documentation.

My 10C LOS L-30 was built with a Carter carb.
