does anyone know if the rear trunk cardboard seperator behind the back seat if 2 differant ones where used mine is the original and looking from the trunk it has slots  cut in it allowing the view of the inners of the back seat springs, I looked at new ones and none have the slots

rat pack

New ones are made to fit all three years as 67's don't have them. You will have to cut the slots into the new one for your 69...........RatPack.............
Just keep livin......L I V I N .............

Can someone post a pick of what the cut out slots should look like?

The slots are part of the ventilation/air circulation system.  Not sure about all years, but in 68, interior air vents through these, on into the trunk, and out the door pillar outlet grill.  68 Service Manual, Fig 5-1.

James,

Thanks for the pics. Do you have any from the trunk side?

Thanks!

I do not have one of the whole divider from the Trunk side. It is a black color, almost looks as though the trunk side was dyed with an asphalt solution.

Amazing...I don't know too many judges from my neck of the woods that know this is the case.

I just put a repro one in the 69 Z I am restoring now, the trunk side is black... or close to black, however it is not the same as the original one. It is WAY too finished looking. (the repro)

Those cutouts don't exist on early 68's.  Theres a dealer technical service bulletin 68-T-22 dated 1/28/68 that addresses the addition of these cutouts to "some early 68 Camaros.  Would assume that means they were suppossed to be there at the start of production but maybe some leftover 67 parts got installed in the early 68s/

The bulletin refers to early '68's. Were these same holes already present for the '69 model year?

Yes. Only early 68's had the issue.
