Trunk mat application

I do know that the thick rubber trunk mat was  part of the deluxe interior option,but was it optional or available in another package on a standard interior car??

I'm sure it would have at least been available over the counter in spares.

From what I have read in the past the only cars that could have received a trunk mat were ones ordered with the custom interior. Here is an example: http://www.camaros.org/forum/index.php?topic=478.0

It wasn't available separately - only as part of the Deluxe Interior (Z87) package.
