I bought this trans. Seller says it was from a wrecked 68SS and a dealer take out. Head mech. at a chevy dealer had it on a shelf (for 30+ years) slated for a high end restoration that never materialized, claims it has approx. 10k miles original, never rebuilt, never taken apart, hard to believe. Going to look at it Thursday. It's local pick-up for me so I'll pay cash. I'm praying every night that this trans does not need to be re-united with it's car because that would mean the story is bogus.
