I'm not trying to hijack your thread... But in looking at the pics of your 68, which is almost a twin of mine, I'm wondering which transmission it has?

And yes, the glass looks great!

The tranny is the Saginaw 4-speed, which came in the L30/M20 cars.  By the way before I took the car apart I put about 20,000 miles on it and the tranny never gave me a problem. But I'm not 18 anymore either. RonM

Thanks!  I thought it might have M20 and I've been looking for a picture of that air cleaner....
