What did the factory use: speaker grills or mesh shelf tray for rear speakers?

Hello all,

Just wondering what they did on a 67, did the factory use speaker grills or a mesh shelf tray for the cars that had the optional rear speakers in the rear shelf tray?  Thanks in advance...

I don't think that these cars ever came with a mesh package tray.... that was a 2nd gen item.

Somebody offers one but that is correct; no mesh ever in a 1st gen.
