Harmonic Balancer size? ('68 396 325 or 350hp)

 What diameter (and width) is the harmonic balancer used on a '68 (Camaro) 396 (I'm assuming it would be the same for 325/350hp)?
  ...I haven't checked the AIM (yet), ...but does anyone have a PN?

Don't have part numbers for '68, but generally the hydraulic-lifter 325hp and 350hp engines used a 7" balancer, and the solid-lifter 375hp engine used an 8" balancer.

Thanks John...that was my guess, ...but that 7" balancer looked 'small' on there...

It looks like the original part number for the 396 (325 & 350 HP versions) was 3860008.

Looks like 3860008.  Ed can you verify this is the earliest #?

That's the one. Used from 1965 through 1969. All 396 (396 and 427 for the Vette) except special high performance for Nova, Chevelle, Camaro, Full Size and Corvette. Probably used on truck applications as well...

My book shows the O.D. to be 7 ^1/16", to be exact, for this balancer.  Sorry for the late info Kevin but better late than never I guess.
