Convertible door wedges

Were the convertible door wedges painted, or were they natural color. If they weren't painted, what colors were they. I understand that the brass piece would be a natural gold color, but what color would the plastic wedge piece be?

They were not painted because they were installed after the paint shop.  Plastic is a dark gray normally and mounts on the qtr side. brass on the door.
