67 console ?

Hi guys ,winter in Idaho, tinkering with my 67 ss/rs 396, I have an original console with a hurst 4 speed shifter w/factory black slider .
my slider rattles when i shift and go over bumps ,driving my crazy .
any good fix for this ,is this a problem with other camaro owners or just me

the only thing you can do is take it out. i live with the rattle.

Try putting some sound deadening material on the underside of the plastic slider plate. I used the same stuff that I used on the inside of my door panels. It comes in 12x12 sheets (?) and is sticky on one side. It's kind of a rubber mat and can be cut with siccors of exacto blade. It worked for me! Good luck
