Use the Melling Select #10553 (photo below) - don't use the new Melling M55 with the diagonal ribs on the casting (photo below) - the new casting is lighter/thinner, and failures have been reported in performance applications.

You could also use GM 302 service replacement pump part# 12555884. Still available from your local GM dealer.
