Has this changed hands once already ? One place lists the sellers location as Canada and says the engine is complete & together with low miles and the Ebay ad says Michigan & shows it completely taken apart.

Yes a guy by the name of Mark lives in Oakville Ontario area sold it going back 4-6 months ago I think

I own this engine. I did buy it from Mark K last summer and decided to tear it apart a couple of weeks ago before installing it in my car. Good thing I did because the bores are very tired. The rest of it looks pretty clean so I don't doubt that it was gone through 2-3k miles ago. Why it wasn't bored at that time is beyond me.

i will follow along and see were the price goes.i am going to get a price on boring and new pistons,i think 302 slugs are quite expensive.

FWIW, around here (metro Detroit) I pay $215 for cleaning and boring/honing. I would guess new pistons are in the $400-500 range.

Do the heads that come with this 302 have the boss drilled and tapped for the water temperature sending unit.?
