Does anyone know if there is a different cowl panel used with a cowl induction hood versus a regular flat hood or an SS hood?

Someone that I know has one and thinks it is for a 68 Camaro, but it might be from a Firebird.  Would one from a 67=68 Firebird work?

Thanks in advance and sorry if this question has come up before.

The "Cowl Top Ventilator Grille" was only used on the 67-69 Camaro (Group 12.800, P/N 3891610). The Firebird used a different Grille but I don't know if they will interchange or not.

Firebird will not have the recesses where the stripes on a Z would be...

So that means the same panel was used for the 67 to 69 Camaro no matter which hood was installed?

I'm going to say that's correct, but my books don't include the 1969 cowl hood so I can't be positive on that.

The '72 P&A30A still listed 3891610 for 67-69:

"12.800     GRILLE--SEAL--SCREEN--FILLER, Cowl Ventilator

67-69 Camaro..................................389160..."

A true '67 cowl panel does not have the 3 small reinforcing ribs stamped along the 90ยบ bend.

Same for cowl hood. I compared the flat hood original paint one I have to a cowl hood original paint one on the Black RS/Z survivor.
