68 glove box lock

Well, I saw a thread for a 69 glove box lock but nothing on a 68.  My key doesn't turn my glove box lock and I'd like to get the lock cylinder out and get a key cut.  Any ideas?

Is it possible you have the wrong key? Have you lubed the cylinder? I was able to open mine through the gap between the top of the door and the dash, but that gap was a lot bigger than GM would have tolerated.

I've got it open and the lock out.  I just need to get the lock cylinder out of the lock and my key does not fit it.  Is there a way to get the cylinder out without the key and without drilling or breaking it?
