I have an early production 69 RS SSĀ  ( Oct. 3rd week 68 Camaro ) I'm still leaning about the car any my question is the car has 4 piston calipers on front. I can't find any info to support 4 piston calipers on a 69 car. I also need to replace my current master cylinder and would like more info on 68 surplus 5460346 US stamped master or should I stick to 5468309 unit.

Do you own Jerry MacNeish's 'The Definitive 1969 Camaro Z/28 - SS396 Fact Book'?  This should be your first place for answers.

An early build SS Camaro would have 2-piece rotors, single piston callipers.  My 10-D-68 build SS Camaro has a '309.  That is the number
you should be sticking with.

A good friend has a 10B [68] 69 Z/28. Has single piston calipers but does have a 346 master stamped US.
