I was able to finagle a boroscope camera under the passenger side cowl hood vent and got some decent shots of the VIN stamp... can someone give me thier opinion? Does it look accurate?

My Opinion: They have obviously been Re-painted over. Orig paint samples would be Chipped paint by the stamp-die over factory paint. They are difficult to make out but I think I see a "N" for Norwood Car.

Oh for sure, the car was re-painted when it was restored. I believe the restoration is about 10 years old. I was able to make out 9N6164, but it's not super clear. I keep trying to get the boroscope in a better angle to get a better view.

Appreciate the feedback!!!

If you want to clearly see the stamping, you are going to have to CAREFULLY use some paint remover in just the area with the stamping. You might get by using lacquer thinner on a rag for that area. It will take some time.

Just be super careful to not cause any damage to paint in any other area.
