I have been making progress towards the July Target Finish Date & Coming out Party & Shows.

Joe, I used the AMK tubular rivets and Hanson Buck-Peening tooling to Set the rivets for the end brackets. After Blasting, Prime, Powder coating of course a bit of silver overspray from the grill painting also. The Brackets are marked with Big "C"'s on the back side.

Fuel-Gas Tank (Spectra Made in CA) Tern plated.  Restored Factory AC Delco 3/8" Fuel Pick up using Dorman Donor parts, ECS anti squeak pads, Anti Drum Pad, Repop Filler hose, Replated (*ZINC) 12/1967 Whittek tower clamps, Square tang Olive 3/8" spring clamps, Stamped 3/8" Hose, AMK Black Masking tape,

Tank associated - Filler GM Replated, Orig Gas Cap, Misc View Rear & Trunk.

Rear Qtr Marker Lights. GM (NOS) w/ Orig Polished Lens's.
Rear Taillights Sourced (CHQ) Very good quality products using Factory Molded Gaskets refurbished.  Meguire Plastic Polish on the GM Factory Lens's. Zinc plated GM Backs.
There is one Note: The Repop Housing will not accept the Factory Nuts, you must use the Supplied fasteners since the Threaded posts seem to differ.

GM Bumper Replated, Brackets Gloss Black, Replated GM Factory Guard's with NOS Rubber inserts, Don Lightfoot Reproduction Stickers, Correctly Date Jack Instr. & Glue on Posi Warning.

Of Note: I could not replicate the (LOS) Van Nyes Trunk Spatter, I Overcoated the Aerosol done by the Prior Owner & could only Get the 'Dots' of Norwood and not the Stringy' Calif Style. It will have to do for now.

Oh & the Seller Dealer T&W Repop Frame w/ 'Year of Manufacture' WA plate from Whitman Co, City Pullman WA. where Washington State University since this coincides with the 1971-1972 Carr Pool Parking Permit on the Rear window.

Front Bumper Install.
Including 68 Rubber Center "Bumper" valance bracket and Rubber.
Much Needed Front ID Plate LoL subject to Change and swap out with other front plates for shows.
Chevy the Helper center stage.
Replated Factory GM Front Bumper. Polished Original Stainless cap mounting bolts.

Sneaky Pete: We ran the Motor on a METS-1 Test Stand in the Garage.
Tons of Challanges many self-imposed (*Mistakes)  It is Paramount to have other sets of "EYES" for safety and just plain doing things right.

Wise move with the test run. Beats pulling a head off a finished, detailed car. We did that on my brothers 69Z. A helicoil under a head bolt pulled just enough to leak water in a cylinder. On his 62 vette we had to pull the intake after the engine guy left the 1/4 inch plug in the oil galley which half the hole is under the intake and half not. Blew oil straight up and all over the car with the top done of course.

Engine Install.
Headers: Driver side from Below and Pass side from Above, they fit PERFRECTLY.

Various Subassemblies staged to reassy to motor.
The Header / Clutch return spring Modifications similar to Chicks Motor.
Solution is to obtain a commercial stainless "L" Bracket and add a longer bolt under a Front Brake pipe hanger to secure.

Topped with a NKR Repop 68 Cowl Plenum air cleaner (*Orig a Std Open Element)
The product Fits Nice and complete the Look w/ KH37 Repop Headers.

& the Factory Tune up sticker to remain. No way would I scrape if off and replace since it is The 302 Tune up decal-Sticker applied by the factory.
