What does everyone recommend for windshield, drip rail, and rear glass moldings?

I have some originals but they may be beyond repair. A few of my set are kinked.

Is there anyone out there who restores moldings?

There's lots of people who straighten & polish stainless. Contact a chrome shop near you & see what they have to say. Nothing fits or looks as good as original GM moldings....Joe

The original trim was aluminum with Bright-Dip anodizing.  Very few shops will do the Bright-Dip for hobbyists.  As always, it depends on how much you want it to look original and how much you want to pay.  Some try to polish and then clear coat it.  The results are nice, but not original looking IMO.  Dennis Barnett Classic Molding Restoration did mine but not sure he still does it.  Be prepared for $$ and over a year wait time.

Negative. The moldings the OP is referring to are stainless with flash chrome. Other moldings on the car are aluminum. Plenty of palces restore it. I've polished my own after dent removal. Now I have customers send it out.

You are correct.  Stainless steel.  They changed in 70 to aluminum.  Just shows you can't assume anything in this hobby.

If you have not yet gotten a hold of any window trim stainless...I was cleaning out my spare bedroom and came across an almost complete set of front/rear stainless that I forgot I had.  They've been sitting in a box for the last 20 years or so.  They are not perfect, but quite nice.  Still show some wear and are not perfect.  I have every section but the rear lower D/S.  Let me know and I can send you some pics.
