Smog Pump Info Help

I have a smog pump that I am trying to find the application for.... The pad is 31081S. Which I believe would be about Nov. 6th. 1968. So that would be for a 1969, correct? The Pulley is 3927116. The only other numbers I could find were on the cast iron back. And they are 4UX. I was told it's an early take-off from a small block Camaro. Appreciate any help... Danny

That's correct. You have a 1969 Camaro pump assembled on the 310th day (November 5th) 1968.

Just something to be aware - smog pumps have date codes and a casting number on the rear plate but they are machined differently depending on application.  In other words, you could be holding a Buick smog pump that will not  bolt up to a Chevy bracket.  Dates and casting numbers alone will not positively identify a pump.
