396 VIN TO916JB

I have 396 with VIN TO916JB and casting # 3955272 and would like to get it to original vehicle. Crank # 3904816NF. Heads # 3931068. I believe these numbers are correct. Have complete engine from carb to pan. I picked this up many years ago in central minnesota if that helps finding the car. It has been disassembled. Any info would be appreciated. THANKS

Should be a 'con' VIN stamped on the vertical rib on the block next to the oil filter.

Would have been installed in a late production Norwood built car.

Are you able to find the VIN stamp on the block?

My pad is stamped T0516JH and cast date code E 5 9 but there is no stamp on oil filter boss. It hasnt been removed from there as the casting area where that would have been is still rough. This is a complete, running L78. Car is   06A Norwood.
