Nice shiny surface on the block deck, too. Never knew the deck broach was so perfect a cutting tool not to leave some kind of marks - impressive.

Also most all pictures are beautiful high-resolution shots... EXCEPT the block stamps. They are always slightly blurry, rolled focus and in this case... in a shaded low light position. Where it is impossible to see any broaching. That surface is smooth as a baby's bottom! Edges are NOT rough at all...   :o  ... Danny

All things considered, if it really were a L34 Pacer it would be rare, even a L35 4 speed Pacer is really rare, believe it or not they built VERY FEW BB convertibles in 1969.

Hard to prove BB with pacer...

It's amazing to think that there were more 396 conv pacers than there were all other combos.
And without paper or original drive train they are the most difficult to prove as real.
